Hydrocodone Expiration?!

Question: Hydrocodone Expiration!?
Does Hydrocodone become harmful after expiration date!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
no, it just loses it's effectiveness!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It becomes harmful only because it loses its potency with time, which might encourage someone to take more of it than they usually do in order to get pain relief (or a buzz, depending on why you are taking it)!. This can lead to overdosing, either on the opioid itself or on the acetaminophen that's been added to it (Tylenol, in other words -- too much Tylenol can cause kidney failure)!.

But it doesn't become, like, poisonous or anything like that!. If you have any concerns or questions, you can call any drug store and ask to talk to the pharmacist and it can be completely anonymous!. They'll be happy to answer your questions, and you don't have to give them your name or anything like that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You really shouldn't take any medicine after the expiration date!. I have taken hydrocodone after the expiration and I feel that if anything, it might just be less effective!. But, I'm just a lay person and can't tell you that for sure!. There are some medications that change when they are old and can do you harm!. As I said, I don't practice what I preach, obviously but, you can call your local pharmacy and the pharmacist can better advise you for sure!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. although he'll probably tell you not to take it and to get a new Rx so he can charge you for a new bottle of them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

likely just less potent like most drugs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
