I think my friend is anorexic?!

Question: I think my friend is anorexic!?
I'm 19, and I think my longtime friend is anorexic!.
She lost a ton of weight after a bad breakup, and since has put some weight back on (very very little) and she wants to "tone up" and "burn mad calories" by running and doing ab workouts!. She rarely eats- she usually does not eat ALL day and eats a decent sized dinner!. So, I do see her eat, but VERY little!. She's trying to resrtict further what little she already eats!.
I think how little she eats is affecting her attitude- she's always tired and not very outgoing or happy!.
She is also EXTREMELY judgemental, so I could see how she's so hard on herself (she thinks hips are bad, ugh!.)
I tried talking to her about it after she asked me for exercise advice on how to burn lots of calories!.!.!. I told her she shouldn't overexercise because she doesn't eat a lot and she made a joke of it!. I'm not sure what to do!. She lives with her parents still (they treat her like a child as well), should I approach them!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're a good friend!. Is your friend possibly throwing up her dinner!? Is she starting to wear really loose clothing so her parent won't notice!?
Honey, don't be afraid she'll be mad at you!. You could be saving her life!. I'm not even kidding!. You MUST tell her parents!. I don't know how skinny she is, but I know a lot about anorexia and bulimia, and she sounds like she needs help NOW!. If she thinks she's fat, when she's actually a bag of bones, she has a full-blown eating disorder, and I've seen too many girls DIE!.
If you get her to a doctor, tell them to weigh her with her clothes OFF!. She'll load her pockets with rocks and drink TONS of water before she gets weighed!. Don't let her!. You must get the adults involved NOW!.
Here's a star for being a true friend, and very possibly saving a life!. Bless you!. :(

You definitely need to express your concerns to her family!. Being anorexic has plenty to do with wanting control of something in a person's life!. Perhaps her parents are too overbearing!! The bad break up made her feel that she had lost control of her life!. It could be any number of reasons she feels she needs control!. Therapy is necessary, sometimes even hospitalization, before she dies!. Death is a reality in anorexic people!. Do this ASAP!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your friend sound anorexic to me and you should talk to her family members about it and see what they have to say, also try and get her to eat more and run less!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes!.!.!.she is struggling with an eating disorder!.!.
when something crazy comes in someones lives then i guess you just control it by starving yourself

i struggled with that stuff!.!.!.in fact i still am, sad to say there isnt much you can do!.!. but dont FORCE her to eat!.
hopefully she will get better eventually=)
i will pray for her

also:

sending her to help would probably do not any good after she leaves

TRUST ME
i have been in eating disorder treatment and you eat there, but ONLY until you get out
when i got out i started eating less and losing weight again
i promise!.!.the best thing YOU as her friend can do

is buy a LOT of food and put it in!.!.her house!? or your house or something and leave her there!.
when she is alone with a lot of food chances are she will get urges to eat and will eventually do it
believe me i know!! i have done this!.!.actually i DO THIS
best of luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
