Question: Thyroid med!. synthroid!? making my heart do funny things!?!?
i missed it for about 4 days because i couldnt get it at the time so finally when my mom went to go get it i took it and now my heart feels like its skipping a beat then it goes really fast then slows down really quik !.!.!.its worring me now!.!.i even woke my mom up and she said it could be that!?!?!? could it be!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could very well be!!! Messing with the thyroid is serious business!! It can effect everything from temperature regulation to mood ,anxiety etc!.!.!.!.
Were you tested for iodine levels first!! All too many docs!. prescribe synthroid simply because your thyroxin is low without checking your iodine level first!! It could simply be an iodine deficiency !! It was for me!!! I just supplemented with iodine-that isn't the tincture of iodine in your med cabinet- and after a short while my thyroid was up to par!!!!!!!
There is even a simple test at home one can do to see if their iodine is low!!!
Just take some tincture of iodine and make a 2 inch target onthe inside of your thigh with it!! if it is gone within 24 hours then you need supplementation!! Supplement with prolamine iodine or potassium iodide for a couple of weeks and then be tested !!!
Synthroid must be taken for the rest of your life and you must be tested every few months to have it adjusted or not!! remember it is synthetic -your own is better!!!obviously!!!!!!!!!!

i take synthroid 75 mcg and have missed it several days at a time because I really suck at taking medicines!. But I have never had those sensations, you better contact your doctor as it may be something more serious!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
