How come every time I go swimming I get sick?!
Question: How come every time I go swimming I get sick!?
This never started until last year!. I swam a few times, & a few hrs!. later, I was stuffy & congested, headache, coughing, etc!. & I went swimming earlier, & then I went to sleep, & I woke up, & my nose was stopped up!.
I LOVE swimming! & I really had a great time for the 1st time in MONTHS!. I'm usually down & depressed, but swimming really made me happy!. But I feel bad that I might not be able to swim anymore because of this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the same problem!. I love to swim but I will get sinus infections every time so I have stopped!.
In my case another problem was irritating my throat and sinuses so I am under treatment to stop this!. I hope it works!.
I would think that you have developed a sensitivity causing increased risk of illness due to the bacterium in the water!. Could be many causes, mine was reflux!. How is your immune system and are you doing anything that could lower it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
