Question: Am I able to donate blood after smoking marijuana!?
It has been about 5 days since I last smoked and one of my friends said they drug test you there and it stays in your system for 3 weeks so I would be able to!. I just wanted another opinion so that I could "give the gift of life!." lolWww@Answer-Health@Com

It does depend on the individual Blood Drive Center but most of the time its 48-72hr wait!. By the way its confidential!. they won't call the cops on you!. i tell them over the phone it will be a few days and they know, especially since they know me by first name basis!. but if you use other drugs they will tell you pretty much a flat no and deny you for good or for a month or so!. Why is marijuana illegal in the first place if you can give blood in a matter of days!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
YES, YES YOU CAN DONATE BLOOD EVEN AFTER SMOKING MARIJUANA!. GO AHEAD AND CHECK MY SOURCES!. It really depends on the organization, but most of them do not test for marijuana/cannabis or even care!. The American Red Cross, who I've donated to, and have engaged in marijuana use before donating (one time the day of donation) does not care whatsoever!. This is because every good scientist and doctor knows that your blood does not become "tainted" or otherwise ruined!. You cannot be high while giving blood!.
The only exception to this is if you somehow figured out a way to intravenously consume marijuana!. The Red Cross, and most other blood bank organizations, frown heavily on needle use and risque sex and you may be denied then!. AND NO, YOU DO NOT GET AUTOMAGICALLY ARRESTED FOR ILLEGAL DRUG USE!. some places test for drugs some places do, do you want to take the risk and get arrested for illegal drugs in your system!? so think twice and clean up your act!. it wont affect the person getting the blood, but you are taking the risk of getting caught if you are going to a drug test site and they will report and hunt you down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I donate all the time and they never refuse me!. And I smoke at least once a week, so it's never out of my system!. I've never heard or seen of them testing for drugs, either!.
