please help,
today we got a puppy from the pound and she got fixed today at 12:00 noon and we took her home at 4:00pm today and she stopped bleeding but she cant keep down her food or even water what should we do she keeps throwing it up so we cant get food or water to stay down we decided to wait till tomorrow but what should we do tonight!?!?!? what will make her stop throwing up i think it is her anesthetics that keeps making her sick she is 11 months old and she looks thirsty and hungry what can i do!?!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

take the food away!. give her sips of water !. it sounds like its a reaction to the anestetic!. dont worry!. keep her comfortable and keep an eye on her!. if by tomorrow she isnt better, then call the doctor!.

Congratulations on your new pound puppy!! I have two and they are better than any 'purebred' I ever had!. Ok, time to call the vet's emergency number if she is still not taking water!. Food can wait!. It is (if you are in my time zone) 11:00 p!.m!. and she is still throwing up!. Not time to waste at 11 months old!. You are right that it is her anaesthetic, but she definitely needs help from her doctor to keep it from becoming an issue of dehydration (which, if untreated, can kill the healthiest of puppies)!.
