Answers:
It's called a Charley Horse!. They can be caused by dehydration, hormonal imbalances, or medication side effects!.

I usually get them in the middle of the night (the worst)!. The only way I can think of to get rid of them is to just rub it really hard and stretch out the muscle!. Sometimes, the pain does last throughout the day, but it will go away eventually!.

overuse of the muscles, they're called CHARLIE HORSES!.
why, i don't know but that's what they're called!.
rub the aching muscles with rubbing Alcohol and stop overusing the muscles!.
it takes time to build up the muscles!.
it happens to just about everybody, i get them sometimes even when i'm in bed, but the cause is that i overworked that muscle somehow that day!.
build the muscles up slowly!.
rubbing Alcohol usually relaxes that muscle,
good luck to ya!. you'll be o!.k!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

too much salt and not enough potassium in your diet can cotribute to this !.!.!.!.you can get a bottle(like a big liquor bottle) and have someone to press firmly and roll it up and down the muscle or massage the cramp out(which can hurt)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I get them when I am low on potassium!.I eat more bananas, tomatoes and anything with potassium in it!.Or I also get them when I overwork my legs such as working overtime!.I get up and stretch it (my leg) and walk around a little!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
