im throat has been killing me for 2 solid days, my throat and tonsils are red,(red and are vainy) but no coat!. and my throat but mainly both ears really hurt!. also if go to the doctors!? will they give a blood test cause i really dont want one, and doctors that work in britian would be much apriciated!. also could you tell me what would you do step by step to a diognostic pleaseWww@Answer-Health@Com

No one can diagnose you here, go to the doctors, they'll probably take a throat culture and look in your ears to determine if you have an infection, usually there isn't a blood test required for that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I'm not a doctor but I work for one and I can try to help you!. Firstly, if you come into the clinic complaining of a sore throat, we would swap your throat to test for Strep A!. This is typically done with a rapid Strep Test!. It's done in the office and takes about 5 minutes!. Unfortunately, this only tests for the most common type of Strep so we would also send a specimen to the lab for a throat culture!. They will check for Strep types B-G!. Throat cultures take from 48-72 hours to determine the type/s of bacteria present so we would prescribe an antibiotic in the mean time!. We would also look in your ears!. We would recommend a mono test but if you were absolutely against having blood drawn we would just treat you for the disease!. The problem with that is you wouldn't be able to alert your friends, family or girlfriend about their potential risks!. Do yourself a favor and go to the doctor!. You obviously have an infection!. Bacteria spreads easily from the back of the throat to the ear canal so it's no surprise that your throat and ears are affected!. Get an antibiotic or your in for many more sleepless nights!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You could have strep throat!. You don't need a blood test for that!. They'll either do a rapid strep test which takes about 5 mins for the result, or a throat culture which they will send to a lab and will take about 2 days!. Either way, all they will have to do is swab your throat!. It may not be the best feeling especially if you have a bad gag reflex, but it only takes 3 seconds, literally!. I do them all day long!. They swab it with a really long Q-tip!. It doesn't hurt at all, just feels like your being gagged for a second!. But I do highly suggest you go in, because no matter what, you need antibiotics!. Your doctor will likely do a throat swab!.!.!. maybe a blood test which may be necessary for your health!. As well she/he will look in your ears!.
Try gargling with a glass of water that has 1 teaspoon of salt!. Do NOT swallow it, just gargle a few times!. It can help with the sore throat!.

First of all, they won't give you a blood test!. There would be no reason for one!. More than likely, you're going to get a throat swab, temperature checked, blood pressure checked, etc!.
I'm not a doctor, and not a doctor from Britain, but here in America, I say you could possibly have something from a simple cold to tonsillitis!. Your ears hurting is a sign your eustacian tubes are blocked!. These tubes run from your middle ear to your pharynx (throat)!. Most often the cause of blocked eustacian tubes are colds, allergies, sinus infections, etc!. Your red and swollen throat and tonsils may also just indicate a cold/allergies!. Often times, sore throats are the signs of a drainage, or your eustacian tubes unblocking!. Basically mucus is draining from your eustacian tubes and sinuses into your throat and is irritating it!.
The only way to know for sure is to go to the doctor!. For something as superficial as a sore throat and ears, there is no reason for a blood test!. I'm curious as to why you don't want one, because they don't hurt that bad, hopefully there isn't another reason, yes!?
Like I said, you'll get a throat swab, which at the worst, may gag you!. They'll test for strep throat which you'll get the results before you leave!. If it is, they'll prescribe antibiotics, usually penicillin, which you take that round of until they're gone!. If it isn't, it's more than likely a cold, and they'll tell you to go home, take some Tylenol, drink some fluids, bed rest, and get over it!. There's no cure at all for the common cold!.
If it's a sinus infection, they may prescribe you an antiallergen, such as Allegra, Zyrtec, etc, which you take daily!. The sinus infection they can also give antibiotics for, which are usually a lower strength grade than most antibiotics!. Take the round, and some other things that may help are throat sprays that numb the throat such as Cepacol, cough drops, and also be sure to stay hydrated!.
Don't be afraid to go to the doctor!. They're there to help, and they won't do anything you don't want them to!. Just be sure to speak up if you're uncomfortable!. If you are in serious pain, try to get to a doctor ASAP or go to the ER or an urgent care center since it's the weekend and doctors are closed!.
