Question: Shots help! I hate needles and I have to get A LOT!!!!?
I have to get a lot of shots next week and I am so scared!!! I hate needles I can't even remember the last shot I had because it was so long ago! I have to get gardasil, chicken pox, meningitis, tetnus, hepitutus A and B! Will they do all of these at the same time!? How bad will this many shots hurt!? Which ones are the worst!?HELP I am soo scared!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

ahhh, i remmeber when i was scared when i had to get 3 shots last year!.
it didnt hurt at all!.
First they would clean the area & then take a shot & put a band-aid!. they would do that again & again until you are done taking your shots!.
The nurse might tell you which one will sting & stuff!. Last year i got the shot that made my arm sorre!.
It will probably hurt for 1-15 sec!. depends on you so yeah!.
I dont know which one is worst but dont BE scared cause it doesnt hurt at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They may use both arms!. Don't remember which hurts most!.
When getting vaccine or shot the most important thing to remember is to take your opposite hand to the injection site a rub hard to spread the serum around!. It the thickness of the serum all stuck by injection site that makes it sore!.
Take 2 Advil or Aleve about 30 min!. before you have shots!.!.!.& if need to afterwards put ice on injection site!.
They'll be over before you know it : ]

I don't exactly know if they will do those shots altogether but i had the same problem i absolutly hate needles but i had to get an operation which ment blood test and an anestetic!. But i just thought of it this way what will last longer you or the needle!? and the worse thing the needle could do is hurt for around 10 minutes!. so think of the needle as a friend then an enemyWww@Answer-Health@Com
gardisal hurts the most!. and i just got tetnus gardisul and meningitus shots!. i dont know about chicken pox and hepititus though!. they might not give them to you all on the same day!. i got 3 in one day!. none of them actaully hurt just sore after!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
