Question: Really scared of shots! Please help me!!?
I HATE shots! I know pretty much everyone does but I am really scared of them! I have to go to the doctor next week and get a lot of them!. I have to get tentus, chicken pox(2), gardasil (3), meningtitis, hepititus a (2), and hepititus b (3)!. I know the ones that have more than one I will have to go back and get but that is still a lot of shots!. 6 I think!. What can i do to make it hurt less!? Will they do them all in the same arm or will they have to use both and maybe my butt!? I am sooooooo scared please help me!Www@Answer-Health@Com

They will probably use both arms!. The main causes of pain during a shot are anxiety and even more so tensing up the muscle that the shot is going into!. So totally let the arm go limp and try not to think about the shot!. You should not watch and slow deep breaths should help you relax!. Under these conditions shots generally don't hurt that much!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
hey dnt worry!. i used to be really scared of shots cuz i hadnt had a shot in a really long time!. but usually if you have to get 6 shots they wont do it all on the same arm!. and when i get a shot i just look in the other direction like outside the window or something it really helps!.

Some things in life we just can't avoid, and this is one of them!. Just suck it up and get it over with!. The thing is, why are you so behind in your shots!? I've never heard of getting so many at one time!. Maybe you can get them a few weeks apart!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
dont be scared ot the shots!. just think of something else when they do them or look away!. and they do them in diffrent places i think!? but dont be scarred just think that a bee stung you and stuff like that!. i was never scarred of shots but you can get through itWww@Answer-Health@Com
