Question: Hard 2 breathe!?
when i get really upset and mad i get so worked up that it gets to where i cant breathe!. the doctors wont do anything!.!.!.help!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have been there myself and not being able to breathe is scary - which makes not being able to breathe even worse!. You really need to learn to walk away from the situation for a while (even in the middle of it if you cannot breathe)!.
During that time you need to take sips of ice, ice cold water and concentrate either on a book, a TV program, or listening to your favorite music!. DO NOT go outside and take a walk if it is hot, do not let ANYONE expect a conversation from you at this time - you need to calm down - your body needs its oxygen level raised and quickly!.
ERIN - ALSO DO NOT LET IT GO ON FOR LONG - you may seriously need to get to the ER for professional help!. If it goes on for 45-minutes and no relief - go to the hospital immediately!. Not breathing - not having enough oxygen can be dangerous!.

It must just be anxiety!. Breathe in and out of a brown paper bag!. Or breathe in your nose and out your mouth slowly, just to settle yourself down!. You're just hyperventilating!.

Getting really angry is much like the fight or flight syndrome in that your body revs up for a fight, sending out glucose(sugars) that are stored in your body, sending out cortisol from your adrenal glands to make your joints not hurt in case you have to run or fight, and sending out adrenalin which makes your heart beat harder and faster, restricting blood to your feet and hands and sending it to you muscles and brain!.
All this is so that you can fight or escape in the wild!. But we're not in the wild, at least not quite!. So after some hours after your anger is gone, your blood sugars will be lowered, your body will be shaking from the adrenalin, and worst of all, you will have lots of cortisol in your system!.!.!.sorta like taking steroids !. Since your adrenal glands sense cortisol in the blood, they stop making it!. But it takes time for them to start up again, so there will be a period of time when you will have inflammation!. Joints that hurt will hurt worse,and any imflammed areas, like your lungs if you have asthma of allergies, will be worse!.
Sometimes it can take days to get back to a normal body!. If you get this angry over years, it can damage your heart and give you a fat tummy, much like steroids would!. And you could get angry easier if it happens often!.
Best to get it under control while you can!. An anger management class, reciting a mantra, yoga, prayer, whatever you choose, must be done before you get this angry!.

It sounds like anxiety, and like everyone else your going to have to try a cope with it by controlling your breathing!. If it makes you feel better and you do pass out while your 'not breathing', you will automatically start to breath when your unconscious and relaxed, so just don't get so worked up about things as much!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
sounds like anxiety!. rather than get on a special pill, consider seeing a cognitive behavioral therapist!. I used to have panic attacks and it took me about a 8 months with her, but a lot of my anxiety is gone, and when i do feel it creeping up, i have little tricks i can do to work myself back down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
this is called hyperventilation!. it happens to some people when they become overwhelmingly upset!.!. the best thing u can do when you feel an attack coming on is try to relax as much as possible and if need blow into a paper bag making sure you inhale adequate amounts of air!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Relaxation is good, but your problem is your fatigue!. I think you sleep badly and too little!. Bad sleep and tiredness are main causes of anxiety!. Of course medications will help!. Which is probably causing you blood pressure to rise to!. which can cause damage to your heart, and depending on how long this is going on can cause severe panic attacks later on if you don't already have them!. Practice breathing!. Take deep breaths and let them out!. This will help to relax!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Learn some relaxation techniques to help with your anger and anxiety!. If that doesn't work go to another doctor and get an anti anxiety medication like xanax!. How old are you!. you probably just need to calm down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
