What do the following symptoms mean?!
Question: What do the following symptoms mean!?
started with scratchy sore throat
sore throat since friday night
coughing with tickling in throat
next day-coughing with chest hurting
next day still sore throat still cough with chest hurting
now headache
seem to have no fever but feel absolutley bad and tired of having a sore throat still!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.what do these symptoms mean!? do i have a cold even though i do not have a runny nose , fever, and am not sneezing!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well, your symptoms don't scream "LIFE THREATENING!." to me!.!.!.i wouldn't be too worried!. just drink a lot of fluids, try some "Airborne" and maybe some tylenol for pain, but i doubt its even worth going to the doctor at this point!.
if your main complaint was a really bad sore throat, i might think strep!.!.!.but you don't have a fever, so its not!.
as far as mono, possible, but not likely!.!.!.wait and see how long the symptoms persist!.
if you feel like this for over a week and your symptoms don't get any better!.!.!.call the doctor!.
bottom line-its most likely a simple virus and it will go away on its own if you take care of yourself properly!. the better you take care of yourself, the sooner you'll lose all of your symptoms!.
so drink water, juice and try to avoid milk and dairy and sodas!.
orange juice is probably preferrable for the vitamin c!.
rest, rest and more rest!. look at it as an excuse to veg in front of the tv for a couple days!. don't go out and party or do anything you don't need to do!.

you probably have flu!.!.flu and cold symptoms are sometimes very similar!.!.if you have just plain cold then you will not have fever and sore throat but if it is flu then you will!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Sounds like a regular cold to me but I'd go to the doctor if I were you and get checked for Strepthroat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
