Why do I wake up in the middle of the night and eat?!


Question: Why do I wake up in the middle of the night and eat!?
It's only started within the past month or so!. I randomly wake up hungry!. How can I stop this and why does it happen!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, lots of reasons, really!.

First of all, the time difference between dinner and breakfast is huge, when compared with the breaks between all of your other meals!. It's not surprising at all that you're hungry in the middle of the night!.!.!.if you ate on a 24-hour schedule, and had dinner at 7 PM, in theory, you should be ready for another meal by midnight!. For the most part, we have trained ourselves to sleep through the hunger, but that's why they call breakfast "breakfast"!.!.!.because you've been fasting, and you're breaking the fast!.

Also, the symptoms of thirst often feel the same as hunger!. I recommend that the next time you wake up and want to eat, that you try drinking a big glass (or two) of water!. This should make you feel full, and will give your body a chance to hydrate!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like you have a metabolism that's trying to keep up with your growing body!.

This usually happens if you're a teenager going through puberty and growth spurts or if you're very active and exercising a lot and your body is basically telling you to eat more calories and give it nourishment so it can grow!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if your pregnant, is normal; your feeding 2 people afterall!.
if your still growing, its also normal; midnight cravings!.
your not hungry, you have cravings!. this could result into gaining weight!.

maybe because during the night your body digests!.!.!.so when you wake up, your stomach is empty!.!.!.also, since its the summer, maybe you're actually dehydrated from the heat-try drinking water before you eat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're stuck in the habit now!. Try drinking hot chocolate just before you go to sleep cos it fills you up and makes you sleep easier!. Don't give in to temptation!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are probably having too much carbohydrate and not enough protein at dinner!. Try eating a hard boiled egg or a piece of cheese about 1/2 an hour before bed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
