What prompts a gallbladder to burst?!

Question: What prompts a gallbladder to burst!?
in other words what causes a gallbladder to burst!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Severe inflammation (called cholecystitis) and an obstruction in the gallbladder's outlet to the small intestine!.

For example, if a gallstone blocked either one of the bile ducts or the hole that connects it to the small intestine (called the ampulla of Vater), then bile would be trapped (sort of like a stopped-up toilet)!.

With nowhere to go, bile would continue to flow into the gallbladder, which would swell dramatically!. Like a balloon, the gallbladder can only swell so much before it bursts!.

Please note, though, that this whole process would be extremely painful!. Gallstones cause a huge amount of pain, and the gallbladder's swelling would also be extremely painful, so there would be plenty of time to catch this problem and fix it (by inserting a drainage tube) before it progressed to gallbladder rupture!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Blocked duct, but usually a severe infection, symptoms of gall bladder trouble are, high fever, severe pain, jaundice!. This requires, IMMEDIATE MEDICAL attention!. Can result in death!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

gallbladders rarely burst The may fill with bile if a stone does not let them drain but the pain would be such that the patient would be seen by someone before the buildup hot to a critical levelWww@Answer-Health@Com

gallbladders get infected and have to be removed!. I suppose they could burst but I've never heard of one bursting!. The hurt like hell long before that and you'd be in the hospitalWww@Answer-Health@Com
