What are some ways you can relieve bad constipation?!


Question: What are some ways you can relieve bad constipation!?
Its been like 2 weeks!. I still go but less often and a smaller amount!. I feel backed up almost to the point of not being hungry, but I eat anyway because I have to eat!. Any suggestions!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I just went through the same thing!. There are a ton of different options but I found this worked!.

Take a suppository up the rectum to soften your stools and make them easier to pass!. Next try taking metamucil two times a day, or even more so long as you are careful not to overdose!. This should give you relief in 48 hours or less!. To keep your bowels moving then start on diet of bran cereals or foods in the morning and intergrate a lot of vegetables and fruit into your diet!. Be sure to drink a lot of water, it will help!.

Colon Cleansers you can buy at the health/vitamin shops like GNC!. Drink plenty of water, can add Benefiber or Murilax to your coffee/tea/food whatever, it doesn't change the taste!. If you are in discomfort, and I've been there, then take a laxative like Ex-Lax-it should produce results within 24 hours!. If it get's miserable, you may need an enema! The longer it is before a good bowel movement, the more hard, and caked up the feces gets and the harder it will be to go-not to mention the physical pain trying to rid of it, and the nauseated and sick feeling you get because it's like a poison when it stays inside your colon that long!. Add more fiber to your diet! Constipation is usually a side effect of a poor diet, like eating unhealthy, bad foods often, or a side effect to some medication-especially pain medications!. I know if I'm ever prescribed a pain medication, I go ahead and start taking stool softners along with them, because I have been miserable before after a week with no bowel movement at all! constipation can be caused by the lack of exercise and the foods that you eat and the drinks that you take in!. to be able to beat constipation, have a healthy diet like eating fiber rich foods; fruits and vegetables are good food to eat for constipation, drinking adequate amount of water each day and get some exercise to have a regular bowel movements!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My son has suffered with this his whole life!. Things like prune juice, Castor oil and mineral oil help, but almost too good!. If taken on a regular basis it can cause things to move too quickly through your system causing fewer vitamins and minerals to be absorbed!. The best thing we've found is a liquid multi-vitamin called "sea silver" sometimes called "Sea energy" there are other brands as well!.!.!.but the key is that they are in a liquid base of Aloe Vera!. The liquid vitamin does not taste bad (you wouldn't want to drink it by the cup, but a 1/4 a cup twice a day is not bad at all!.) It tastes like strong cranberry juice!. Ask at a local Health food store or vitamin store if they have a liquid multi-vitamin that is in an Aloe Vera base!. It's the Aloe Vera that makes it easier to go!. Drink a glass of prune juice every AM!.
Eat 100% Bran Cereal or Oatmeal with fruit!.
Drink at least 8 glasses of water/day!.
Take fiber supplements, like Metamucil or Citrucel!.!.!.you must drink fluids when you take these!. They are safe to use all the time!.
Try the generic Colace 1or 2 at night(a stool softener)!.!.!.do not use more than 10 days!.
You can also try Milk of Magnesia or take Magnesium CITRATE about 400mg/day!.!.!.it has a laxative effect!.

Do not use stimulant laxatives they have very bad side effects!.

Try to get a bit of exercise!.!.!.go for a walk, etc!.

a half teaspoon of Epsom salt with a glass of water would clear the clog!. But what did you ate to got constipation in the first place!? Limit intakes of meat or starchy food, and eat a lot of vegetable and high fiber fruit like orange, prune, apricot and never get the same condition again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
