Kinda embarrassing but need help...?!

Question: Kinda embarrassing but need help!.!.!.!?
I noticed my 7 year old was scratching her head a lot and when we checked sure enough we found that she had head lice!. We treated the whole family and washed lines, couches, carpet and anything else that could have lice in/on it!. I even put the stuffed toys in garbage bags and put them out in the storage shed!. I also boiled all the combs and brushes and had the interior of the car cleaned!. I redid our hair once a week for the next two weeks and I be damned if 3 weeks later I didnt find more lice in her hair!. We went through the whole proccess all over again with cleaning heads and home and thought we were finally rid of them!. Within about 6 weeks they were back again, so I treated again!. Almost 2 months later and they are back with a vengence!. I am at a loss as to what else to do!. I have been to the doctor because I thought they could prescribe something stronger than the OTC meds, but it turns out my daughter is allergic to the RX and cant use it!. I need some ideas please!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My daughter had the same problem a few years ago (about 3 times in 2 months)!. The issue isn't yours, it's one of the kids she plays with!. Unfortunately, my girl had it during the school year and I had to tell the school nurse about the reinfection and it forced them to test the school!. Everyone with lice was sent home for treatment and not allowed back until the nurse had cleared them!. Now that's embarrassing!. I would think you might need to speak to her friends parents or find a friendly way to check their heads!. Good luck!. --Oh No! Daycare!!? it will also be up to them to check all kids and thoroughly de-lice the premises!. In our state a lice outbreak is a health department issue when dealing with daycares!. It may sound a little backhanded, but if it continues a call to your health dep't may help force the daycare to do what they may not want to do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Is she in daycare!? If she is that might be the source

Check with anyone she is around frequently; maybe they are the source and don't know it

Don't be embarrassed - lots of kids get head lice and it doesn't mean you've done anything wrong!. What's important is to find the source of the re-infection!. It should not be that difficult to get rid ofWww@Answer-Health@Com

I remember having it when I was little, it was very hard to get rid of!. Try to have your whole family use Tea Tree oil shampoo & conditioner, everyday, see if that helps!. She probably keeps getting reinfested by other kids whose mothers haven't tried everything you have!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

umm well when my cusin that use to live with us had been gitting lice a lot and would not go away and then one day we were called to her school and it turns out that one of her ;ittle friends was with her in the nurse to and her friend has been in their alot so maby it could be one of your daughters friendsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Ask your pharmacist which product he recommends that works the best!. They know more about drugs than the docs do!. Also, call your local health dept!. They will have info on the latest treatments!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

She could be gettingg it from her friends or just at school!. So no matter how much you try to get rid of it, it will keep coming back because she keeps being re-exposed to it!. You might consider checking with the school, or talking with her friends parents about it!. When I was younger, the school actually had to step in and check ALL the students heads because there were a lot of students who ended up getting it and their parents were having a hard time getting rid of it because they kept gettin re-exposed to it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
