Does my friend have anemia?!


Question: Does my friend have anemia!?
my friend is trying to go veg!. she takes vitamins but none specifically for iron!. she has been veg for about 15 days!. lately she has been feeling tired and her veins dont stick out like they used to!. could she be anemic!? is it from being veg!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

well it kinda sounds like the thing my old girlfriend had!. I will almost promise you she is not anemic, but she needs iron, and calcium!. The thing with not eating meat is that you donot get protein and energy like you would from chicken, and fish!. Tell her to drink protein shakes if she wants to keep up the veg!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know but she needs to see a doctor and get a blood test to see if she has it!. She needs to get iron in her body, that's one of the problem with going vegetarian!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

She may be anemic, but the only way to know for sure is to get a blood test!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
