Question: Help! Please! Is mold bad for your health!?
My mom and I live in this basement apartment and for about three weeks there has been this musty smell!. I thought it was in the carpet, but we've used airfreshners and carpet deodorizers and nothing works!. I am really scared now because we have been living with this smell and I am scared that we are going to get really sick!. I dont even kno where the smell is coming from or where the mold is!.!.!.what should we do!!? I really need help!. I don't want to wait until it is too late!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, yes , mold is bad for your health to the point where if you were exposed to it long enough, it could be fatal!. You need to call a contractor in your area and have your mold situation assessed!. They can recommend a place that deals in the removal of the mold!. You were very smart to ask this question, and your worries are justified!. you may even want to contact the CDC in Atlanta,Ga!. to see if they know of anyone in your area that straightens out these mold problems!. toxic mold grows in places where no sunlight can reach and where there is a constant water source like from a leaking pipe!. Like inbetween walls, crawls spaces, basements, ceilings etc!. Look around your ceilings for any old water leaks!. its hard to see toxic mold because it usually grows on the inside of walls!. but just look closely for any tell tale signs of water leaks!. If you find some then get out asap!!!!!!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Definitely hire a professional!. The mold could be in the walls, ceilings, etc!. Excessive amounts of mold can cause problems when inhaled, especially if you're allergic!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
