Answers:
Sleep scientists have done extensive research, and current understandings indicate that the average human needs between 7 and 9 hours every night, and that the human body reacts to the rising and setting of the sun to tell it when to become tired and when to wake up, so your 7 to 9 hours should end within half an hour of sunrise, which varies with the seasons!.

As a guide, if you wanted to have the perfect sleeping pattern during the time of year when sunrise occurs at 7am, you would be best getting to bed to sleep between 11!.00 and 11!.30, and waking up between 07!.00 and 07!.30!.

Research also indicates that for every hour of sleep from your ideal 8 hours that you miss, your attention and focus suffers the equivalent of 1 standard drink of alcohol, and that you can accumulate sleep debt like the drunkard that is intoxicated before they start drinking because of the drinks the night before!.

So, to impose your aforementioned sleeping patterns on the research: your getting 5 hours of sleep each night, which means each morning you start your day with the equivalent attention of someone with a blood alcohol rating of 0!.06, which is more than the legal driving limit!.

I bet you drink a fairly large quanity of drinks containing caffeine, guarana, ginseng, and other 'legal' stimulant drugs to keep yourself under control, and then using some form of depressant drugs like alcohol, cocoa, or marijuana to relax yourself when you no longer need to be alert!. The use of these drugs to aid performance is detrimental to your physical and mental health, and has highly addictive and accellerating dependence qualities!. How many people do you know that tell you they NEED a coffee every morning, and "I'm just DYING to get home so I can crack open a beer!."

All you need to do to avoid this spiralling downhill slope of drug addiction, dependency, and ill health is to religiously set aside 7 to 9 hours of sleep every night to wake up refreshed and alert from the very first second, drug free!.

Good luck, I hope you find the discipline and self control to put your life down each night to rest, recover, and review the day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you feel good when you wake up you sleep well for your body!. If you are still tired and remain tired for a few hours or all day then you are not getting enough sleep!. I am a nightowl and I tend to sleep from 4am to about 1pm!. Each person is different and I really don't believe there are any set rules!. Listen to your body!. For me I have to work nights otherwise I don't function well in a day job and have never been able to sleep until about 4am!. Good luck with finding what's best for your body!. I am now 39!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

About 6 hours sleep a night is enough for your health!. But there is no 'right' time to go to sleep and wake up!. We all have different body-clocks, some of us are just naturally night owls and some are early risers!. If you feel refreshed and not tired through the day you are probably getting enough sleep for you and if the time you go to sleep/wake up fits your life/job then there is no problem with it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It doesn't sound like you're getting enough sleep!.

The optimal amount of sleep is 7-8 hours each night according to http://www!.hiddendangersrevealed!.comWww@Answer-Health@Com

Just go along with your body rhythms!. Your body will talk to you!. You have to listen!. easier to give that advice than to take it!. Recently i have been waking up at 3am for no reason and i have nothing to do at 3am!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That's horrible!. You're barely getting any REM sleep!. You should add a couple hours to that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
