Am I having an anxiety attack?!

Question: Am I having an anxiety attack!?
On Friday I got a stomach flu, and during that time (especially at night) I'm getting very nervous and I'm shaking and my heart is beating so fast!. That is probably because I have a huge fear of vomiting!. Every time (between Friday and today), when I feel I wanna vomit, I start to shake, feel nervous and my hearts beats fast!. Also, I can't sleep at night (I move a lot) and my heart beats fast and I have a mild fever!. I just feel nervous!.

So is that an anxiety attack!? If so, how can I stop it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi there, it sounds like panic to me brought on by your fear of vomiting, but seeing as you've had a stomach flu I would get yourself checked out by a doctor!. Either way, if it's anxiety or not, something is wrong and you need some advice/medication possibly!.

It's not necessarily an anxiety attack!. Many different things can cause a person to have the symptoms you are describing!. About ayear and a half or so ago, I started having loose stool, alot, and then my heart starting beating sometimes fast and hard and irregular and then would stop for a few day's and then do it again!. Then I started having trouble sleeping at night, not every night but to often!. I started to gain alot of weight, something I've never experienced!. Then I started to notice that my hands started to shake!. Again, not all the time but off and on!. I would go to the store and buy something and when I would put out my hand to get my change, sometimes I could hardly control the shake!. I thought maybe I was loosing my mind and starting to have anxiety attacks!. Something that doesn't make sense with my personality!. I finally went in to a doctor!. She sent me to the lab and had some blood drawn!. It came back and showed that I had hyperthyroidism!. Your thyroid is a butterfly shaped gland belonging to your endocrine system and is located in the front portion of your neck!. It does several things for you!. It controls your heart rate, your metabolism and the calcium release in your body!. If left un-attended for to long can kill you!. If these symptoms continue for several months, see your doctor!. It could be dangerous to let these type's of symptoms go on and on!. Especially the one concerning your heart!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
