I' d rather be deaf, being blind is very frightening to me!. I had cataracts in both eyes removed last year & I was terrified by the operation at 1st because I was afraid I could go blind!.
But, actually you are awake for the operation & it really improves your vision a lot!. Glad I had them done!. I'm quite young to have had cataracts!.
I would recommend it to anyone!.

When Bush gives his speeches, I would prefer to be both blind and deaf!. That way I wouldn't see that smirk on his face when he thinks he said something smart!. Also, I wouldn't hear the things he says which he believes ARE actually smart!. On a more serious note, if I were deaf and/or blind, I would find this question a little offensive, as we are fortunate to be blessed with the gift of sight and sound!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
deaf!. Most of the things I do in life involve sight rather than hearing!. ie!. driving, sex, videogames, movies, reading, working!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
