Question: How long before a drug test should i stop smoking marijuana in order to pass!?
in order to do marching band you have to pass a drug test!. i smoke marijuana, not like all the time or anything, but maybe once or twice a week!. how long before the test should i stop!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Mostly likely it will be a urine test; they rarely do hair follicle tests!.
Well; I don't have a definitive answer for you- no one else should either!. There are SOOOO many answers out there- I've heard everywhere from 10 days to 10 weeks! There's so many different answers because the govt/people want you to think weed is worse than it is (that is, until they make it legal and start mass producing it and taxing it) and because people want to sound like they know, so they make things up!.
It really depends on A LOT of things - your overall health, your metabolism, your weight, your water intake, your EVERYTHING!.
If you are healthy and of a nice weight - I'd stop about 3-4 weeks before and during that 3 weeks, drink a sh1tload of water to flush out your system!. Maybe start taking some extra vitamins and crap like that to get your body in tip-top shape!.

*edit* In the hair testing case- it's not about cutting your hair off- it's the FOLLICLE (root) that has the evidence; not the hair itself!. I doubt it'll be a hair test, that costs more money and is a special circumstance thing!. In the follicle test, you'd have to stop smoking MONTHS before!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

up to 30 days for urine test!. very very long time for hair- and no, it isn't about cutting the hair off; it's the root that has the traces of the chemicals!. i suggest you quit entirely so you don't have to worry about this again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
