Really bad habit. please help!!!?!


Question: Really bad habit!. please help!!!!?
i have been smoking cigarettes for the past 4years and i wanna stop, but don't know how!. i've tried everything!. i have been able to cut back a bit lately but i drink on the weekends witch of course makes me smoke more!. can you tell me what i can do to stop this bad habit!? and i don't mean the patch or the gum, tried cold turkey and that just drove me crazy!. PLEASE HELP!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hypnosis didn't work!. Not at all!. Everything we are learning about smoking is amazing!. Before you smoked your first cigarette, your brain worked a certain way!. After you smoke, your brain is almost completely "rewired"!. No matter what you are doing or thinking or eating, your brain's first matter of importance is getting another cigarette!. THe absolute first order of business!. And time doesn't make it better!. It is still strong 20 years later!. If you know this, you won't beat yourself up when you fail!.
The only thing that works is for you to pay attention to the signals from your brain!. It will notify you that it wants a cig!. At that point, i want you to stop what you are doing and concentrate!. Tell your brain that you want a cig as badly as it does!.!.!.!.!.and you are going to get a cig!. But first you are going to wait a minute or 10 minutes or 1 hour!. Enuf time for the idea of that cig to grow and grow and grow!. This is going to be the best cig you've ever had!. If you wait long enuf it is going to be great!. You can't hold out forever!. But make it a game that you play with your brain!. It seems silly but it can make your life better!. And you have to stop feeling bad that you can't quit!. It is a powerful nicotine "delivery system" that is designed to make it so you can't quit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I used Wellbutrin SR and it worked amazingly well!. A friend of mine also quit, but she had the problem that she smoked when she drank also!. So, she took a few weeks and went to the movies instead of the bar or to a non-smoking friends house until the worst of the cravings were over!. (week 1 and 2 are the worst)

Good job cutting back, and while I don't think that the patch or gum help by themselves, you might want to consider using them if you are struggling!. Truly the first week is the worst, and then it gets easier!.

I will say that you will never ever not wish you could have a cigarette!. Another good friend of mine quit over 10 years ago, and I was asking her if I would ever not want a cigarette because I miss them so much and she told me that every day she misses them but that now that the physical cravings are gone she just ignores it!.

take it step by step!. make a plan and tell yourself that its going to work!. Example: say your only going o smoke 2 ciggarettes today then you only smoke 2!. Then 2morrow you may say your gonna smoke just one!. Then the next day your not gonna smoke any!. you have to have a strong mind and keep telling yourself that you wanna quit!. Its a process that takes time!. You can also pray on it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pick a week when you have something planned besides hanging in a bar!. Maybe a vacation week where everything is different!. When the urge hits you keep in mind that it only lasts a minute or two so do something to keep busy for two minutes when it hits!. On vacation you will also keep busy doing stuff!. I quit using the withdrawal method and then changed to a brand I didn't like then quit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Enjoy the cigar and smoke with all the procedures involved therein the process and try to meditate upon smoking ,being TOTALLY involved in it with utmost attention while you smoke!. Then see what happens!.
