Answers:
have you ever cooked with cast iron!? When you do, a little bit of the iron leeches into all the food you have prepared, you cant taste the difference!.!.!. but it is there!.

I reccomend that you get yourself a good cast iron frying pan and a dutch oven!. With those to things you can cook almost anything!. I have even baked cakes in mine! no joke!

you will need to learn to care for your cookware, it isnt like other pans!. I simply rinse mine well, scrub with a nylon scrubbie if necessary and then dry with paper towels - make sure to dry it all the way!.!.!. or it will rust!.

You can get great pans second hand - don be scared off if they are a little rusty!.!. just clean well with steel wool and re-season!

from Martha Stewart (link below) -

An old-fashioned cast-iron skillet is close to a perfect pan!. It's versatile and very affordable!.

Why It's So Great
Iron is heavy!. That means an iron pan holds the heat and distributes it evenly, so it browns well rather than scorching the food in some spots and leaving it pale in others!. It's nonstick, and there's no surface layer to scratch off!. It lasts a lifetime (or longer, as anyone lucky enough to have inherited Grandma's pan knows), and it just gets better with age!. You can use it on the stove top or in the oven!. It works especially well for searing, sauteing, and baking!.

How to Choose
You can buy a cast-iron skillet at your local hardware store!. The best ones are made in the United States!. Look for a heavy pan that's at least 1/8 inch thick!. New pans look gray and raw, but they turn black once seasoned!. A good all-purpose size is 10 or 12 inches!.

How to Care for Cast Iron
Before using the pan, season it: Rub the pan inside and out with oil, and put the skillet in an oven at 300 degrees for an hour!. Never put cast iron in the dishwasher!. To clean it, sprinkle with coarse salt, rub with paper towels, then wipe!. Always wipe well before storing!. Don't use the pan to cook alcohol or anything acidic, such as tomato sauce!. Alcohol and acid eat away the seasoned patina!. If you forget, however, or if the pan rusts a little, you can reseason it!.

consulting a doctor in any medical question is good but to answer your question home remedies include lots of red meat and dark leafy vegetables!. foods like liver and greens are naturally high in iron!. broccoli and ather green foods also!. when eating vegetables try and stay away from canned store bought items they are usually the least healthiest of vegetables high in sodium and cooked into most of the good nutrients are gone!. stay with fresh or even frozen foods and eat up!. but red meat and leafy greens are probably best!. if not try a suppliment or a kids vitamin that has iron!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you switch to a multivitamin make sure that it has iron added (many don't because too much iron is bad for you)!. Any vitamin with a red coating (not capsule but pill) might make your stomach upset (it does for me)!.

Try taking the pill with a little milk or a small amount of food!.

If none of the vitamins work, eat iron rich food (think dark green or beans)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
