When your old and bedridden, or severely ill, should you have the right to decide your death if you wish to escape the pain of your life!.
And are the people who keep you alive against your will actually doing you more harm, do other people have a right to keep a sick person alive if that person knows they want to be dead!.
Murder is a very bad thing, but isn't this sort of the same!.
Saying to someone, things will get better is wrong--how would they know if you have suffered for many years!. I think people who have lived should decide when they die if they need to!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No- I think God should make your decision to die or not!. He takes you when he thinks you dont belong on this earth anymore!.No one should take their life!. Its just not right!. God put you on this planet for a reason and he will take you out of it for a reason!.

One has the choice to prepare a Living Will!.
This ensures that no heroic measures are taken to extend ones life!. This is the best one can do under existing laws, other than refuse medication!.
We do have the right to receive pain meds!.

The Euthanasia topic is complicated and confusing!. Personally, I don't believe in God!. But, if I did, keeping a person alive artificially when they can never heal, isn't that human interfering against God's plan!? Healing is a good thing, but keeping someone artificially alive when healing is not possible!?
Since I don't believe in God, I believe the body belongs to the person!. As such, I believe it is your right to decide when you die!. Though, suicide should be curbed by having you see a psychologist before being allowed to make sure that it isn't just depression speaking and you understand what you are doing!. In the case of being old and bed ridden, I'd like to die with dignity and having family members or nurses changing my diapers will be the sign that it's time to move on!.
In the case of other people deciding if you should be taken off life-support, I say that we use what they used for abortion in Canada before its legalization!. A group of 3 doctors must come to the conclusion that you will never heal and that the state you are in is permanent!. I'd say one doctor should be chosen by the family if they are obsessed with keeping the person "alive" (if you can call it that)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
