Panic attack/asthma during intimacy?!

Question: Panic attack/asthma during intimacy!?
I have mild asthma that causes my airways to swell and I start to wheeze and I have also developed a panic/anxiety disorder as this came about because the feeling of my breathing being restricted scares me to death!. I already am a fairly nervous person to begin with and am scared to use an inhaler because I've heard they can make you jittery/nervous!. Here the past few months, a lot of times (not all) when my husband and I are intimate together, I feel my airways start to swell, I'm guessing due to the heavy breathing, etc!.!.!.!. When that happens, I start to feel a little panicky and last night I actually got dizzy and felt really swimmy headed, almost as if the room was spinning!. This scares me really bad and it's really not doing anything for my love life!. I mean, my husband understands my problem and he's actually had to stop and ask me if I'm ok!. What can I do to make this stop!? I really really don't want to be on any meds or inhaler, but is that the only way to stop this!? Help!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You need to really concentrate on relaxing while you are being intimate with your husband!. You are probably actually thinking about it too much and getting yourself worked up into one of these attacks!.

I know you say that you do not want to be on your inhaler or medicine, but medicine might be the best route!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
