Question: Can I stop seizure medication!?
I have been taking seizure medication over a year because I was addicted to anziety medication!. Now that I am totally clean can I suddenly stop taking Dilantin!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do NOT stop taking your medication without discussing this with your physician!. If you are ready to stop Dilantin, your physician will gradually taper you off with a specific schedule to prevent you from having a seizure due to withdrawal!.!.

my daughter had epilepsy growing up, and we learned that you should not stop taking any mes without contacting your doctor first, and even then, he will probably ween you off of it, lke they did my daughterWww@Answer-Health@Com
You should discuss with whoevers in charge of your medication to see if your fully clean!. The syomptioms can come back and you can get sick again!. RegardsLhellaWww@Answer-Health@Com
