Its called exfixiation!.

Absolutely!. Not only is it possible, it has happened!.
Some people who have had their jaws wired shut need to carry around a pair of wire cutters with them so that they can cut the release wires if they vomit and can't expel it!. A friend of mine had his jaw broken in a car accident and used to carry a miniature pair on a string around his neck at all times!. He never had to use them though!.
People can choke on vomit, if it can't be cleared from the airway, no matter what the reason, whether it be because they are gagged, have their jaw wired or are just too drunk to spit it out!. It happens quite often!.
That's why you hear about all those rock stars that choked to death on their own vomit!. Well, they assume it's their own vomit!. You can't really dust for vomit!.
