Question: I am slightly anemic and I have iron defiency what can eat or take to increase my red blood cells!?
Answers:
Foods that are rich in iron include the list below, but you also need to make sure that you eat something with vitamin C (either in the food or a vitamin pill!.) The vitamin C helps the body to utilize the iron in the foods, otherwise it will pass through your system without your body getting the benefit of the iron!.

Liver and other meats
Seafood
Dried fruits like apricots, prunes and raisins
Nuts
Beans, especially lima beans
Green leafy vegetables, such as spinach and broccoli
Blackstrap molasses
Whole grains
Iron-fortified breads and cereals (check the label)Www@Answer-Health@Com

A deficiency of iron makes us tired and apathetic, a condition known as anemia!. Anemia is characterized by low levels of hemoglobin causing oxygen starvation in your tissues!. Though anemia is a common condition, do not try self-diagnosing it, or try self-prescribing dietary supplements, because the same symptoms that indicate anemia can also indicate other more serious diseases, such as bleeding ulcers or even cancer!.

Since the average man needs to digest 10 mg!. to 18 mg!. of dietary iron every day and the average woman needs 18 or more mg!. of dietary iron every day, it is easy to eat a lot of good food and not get enough iron!. If you are not getting enough iron, the best way to increase your iron intake is by effecting a slight change in your eating habits!. If you are unable to include more iron-rich food in your diet, it may be good to check with your physician about an iron supplement!.

Vitamin B-12 is necessary to build red blood cells!. People who don't eat meat have this problem to contend with constantly!. This is one nutrient that greatly supports the idea that we were not meant to be totally vegetarian!. The vitamin B-12 is a large molecule and must be broken down in the stomach by a protein enzyme into a smaller molecule so it can be absorbed and used by the body!. The liver stores vitamin B-12 and so most symptoms of a deficiency in the diet takes some time to surface!. The very best source of vitamin B-12 is LIVER from a grass fed cow!. Each person should eat a serving of this type of Liver each week!. To prepare it properly, you should cook it until it has a slight pink to it!. Make sure the liver is not from the typical beef liver you get in the Mausoleums where dead food is held in state (super markets that are really not super at all)!. Find a good source of GRASS FED COWS and make sure they are not "finished" with grain in the last two months of their lives!. Grain fed cows that eat in feed lots are very unhealthy and very bad for you!.

Also, AVOID ALL SOY PRODUCTS that are not fermented!. Soy depletes the body of iron (over 50%) and other nutrients!. The fermenting process removes the goitrogens and phytoestrogens in soy that cause this problem!. The good fermented soy can be found in: soy sauce, natto, and miso!. Tofu is really bad and it was originally designed to remove the libido in monks and it really works!. (hello viagra to soy munchers)!.

good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you already eat enough meat (which I assume you do) You need to get more vitamin C, because vitamin C has been shown to help with the absorption of Iron!.

So eat oranges before you eat you're meat!. Also you don't need to eat meat in order to get Iron, there are a lot of vegetarian and vegan options available!.

Hope that Helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
