Why cant i sleep at night anymore?!


Question: Why cant i sleep at night anymore!?
i used to fall asleep in a few minutes at night, im 16 and now i find it hard to fall asleep!. when i lay down my mind goes crazy and as hard as i try i just keep thinking of things and i cant stop my mind from shutting down!. how can i fix it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The quality and quantity of your sleep is a direct result of what happens during the day!. It sounds like you are having a hard time disconnecting from your day, and maybe suffering from a high level of stress and/or anxiety!. You need to deal with the stresses to get a good nights sleep!. If you can't resolve them all by the time you get into bed each night, keep a journal by your bed that you can write them down in to deal with the next day!. Often times when you put it down on paper, you can let it go from your mind a little easier!.

i used to have the same problem, especially during the school year because i'd be really stressed out!. try to do something that might make you sleepy!? read a book, take a nice hot bath!. don't watch television or drink sugary, caffeinated beverages, those will make things worse!. don't think too hard about falling asleep (that makes you stress out more)!. try putting some lavendar under your pillow or another similar scent (these will have a calming effect on you and help you rest easier)!. i hope i've helped and i hope you can get back to sleep! :( i know how rough that is!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Excercise, go cycling or do swimming, jogging
in the evening!. Eat well, have a cup of warm milk with honey, you will fall asleep!. Dont keep thinking
about matters which are not in your control!.
At any free time, even on bed, just do some meditation, concentrating on any object or God you wish, and try to keep it focussed on!. These are harmless methods of getting sleep!. Avoid all
sleep inducing drugs!. They are habit forming and dangerous!.

Dont use the computer atleast 20 minutes before you sleep!. Usually cool environments help to relax the body and mind so turn the fan on and turn the air conditioner down a few degrees!. Also drinking something warm like hot chocolate or warm milk helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
