Firstly it does sound like a fungus, pls tell me u didnt go to one of those cheap nasty asian nail bars!?!?

Go to the doctor or chemist there is treatment to help aide in fungus!. It is obvious that water or chemical has become lodged under the acrylic onto the natural nail bed, this will happen if instruments/files/drills are not sanitized properly!.
that is why I ask if you did go to a Asian Nail Bar!?!?!?!?!?

gently file all nails, buff then put a clear top coat, then a hardener!.

Let me know please if you did go to Asian nail bar!?!?
Im very interested/ and it will take a few years to completely heal with a fungus growth!.

Nail fungus, aka Onychomycosis or Tinea Unguium

Nail fungus is made up of tiny organisms (Tinea Unguium) that can infect fingernails and toenails!. The nails of our fingers and toes are very effective barriers!. This barrier makes it quite difficult for a superficial infection to invade the nail!. Once an infection has set up residence however, the same barrier that was so effective in protecting us against infection now works against us, making it difficult to treat the infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey, look on the bright side!
You could get a job at a winery, all you've
got to do is stick your moldy fingernail in the
grape juice!. Might save the winery alot of
$$$ to use you instead of expensive wine
yeast!. (Or if you get a yeast infection you
could do the same thing by sitting in the
grape juice!.)
Moldy fingers from artificial nails, moldy
hoo-hoos from wearing nylon panties!.!.!.
being a woman must be fun!.!.!Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, see the doctor about the fungal infection!. It can take a long time to cure!.
Until it is cured, don't even think of long nails!. That won't help matters any!.
However, after the fungus is gone, use something like Sally Hansen Strong as Nails to strengthen your nails!. Go to a beauty supply store and see what they might stock for weak nails, then make sure you follow directions!. I have friends it worked for!.

good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, fungus - need strong antibiotic to verify!. Ask a pharmacist if there is something over the counter!.
Hardening - there is a great polish by Loreal that is called a nail strengthener and it really works!. However, don't put it on the green finger!. Best of luck to you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Soak your nails as many times a day as possible in antiseptic mouth wash!. Two times for sure! Good for toe nails as well!. You will see a difference in one or two weeks and your nails will get softer!. Vinegar is also great but it stinks! Those are household remedies! j5barbWww@Answer-Health@Com

Go back to wear you got your acrylic nails put on!. They sell medication for fungus!. Your nails are weak from lack of oxygen, etc!. It takes several months with the acrylics of for them to get strong again!. If the salon won't help you, go to your doctor!. I wish you the best of luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

try not to wear nail polish or fake nails all the time!.!. your nails need to breathe too!.!. take more calcium it will make ur nails harder or using sally hansen products for strengthening nails!.!. always wipe ur hands and nails dry after washing your hands!.!. see a doctor or go to a pharmacist for a fungal cream!.!. if it really is an infection, when cutting ur nails dont use the same nail clipper to cut the infected one together with the rest!.!. u dont want the fungal spores to get into other nails too!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it sounds like it could be "nail mold", caused by a bacteria in our nails that grows out of control under the acrylic nail and cause an infection!. if your condition lasts more than a couple days though it wouldn't be mold cause that bacteria can't live when exposed to oxygen!. i would suggest going to a pysician anyway!. as a hairstylist, i am warned that acrylic nails can be dangerous considering my hands are in water all the time and if water gets in between the acrylic and the nail, mold will grow!. so if you've been in water a lot lately that could be it!. as for brittleness, you can try a buffer and clear hardening nail polish, that helped me a lot!. good luck!! ? :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Toenail fungus takes about six months to cure with antifungal medicine!. All fungus infections are tough to cure because what can kill a fungus can also kill a person at the right concentration!. If the fungus is on the surface of the nail then cleaning it and leaving it bare will eventually get rid of it!. If the fungus is underneath the nail then you will have to have prescription pills to kill it!. They would be well worth it though because having a fungus growing inside your body is dangerous!. But you know that already!.
Nails are made of protein so if you eat a bit more protein then they will grow better!. Don't do anything to make them thinner!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have had toenail fungus before and it was yellow!. I have seen pictures online of nail fungi, and they have always been a yellowish color, not green!. I think it may be a discoloration due to the glue used for your acrylics!. A nail fungus also make your nails thick!. They are much more common on toes than fingernails!.

See if the stain "grows away!." Fingernails grow much faster than toenails, so if your fingernail is growing and the green color is growing away with your increased nail length, chances are it is not a fungus!. If the color spreads and starts making your nail thick, see a doctor!. You can take Lamasil, though that is very expensive!. A cheaper alternative is a drug called Sporonox!. It is available as a generic and you have the option for "pulse dosing" -- taking two doses a day for one week, then three weeks off of the medication, then one week on again!. It will take three months but at least with Sporonox you do not have to take the pills every day, which is what is required with Lamasil!.

While taking the medication, you will need a simple blood test to ensure your liver is healthy!. These anti-fungal medications can be hard on the liver!.

Do not waste your money on any over-the-counter topical medications!. They do not penetrate the nail deeply enough to kill the fungus!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

tea tree oil i have a nail fungus also but its not yellow or green its just really short and would not grow with my skin so what i do is cut it all da way short until it can anymore and put tea tree oil on it everyday twice its helping it takes a longgg time though so patience is a virtue oh and for the nail treatment jus keep them clear of acrylic and put sally hansen clear nail polish on every week (not the ones that say for chipping nails bla bla) just get a regular clear nail polish for strength you can also buy this lotion im using its great a lil pricey though from THE BODY SHOP its almond for hand and nailsWww@Answer-Health@Com
