How do I go to sleep?!


Question: How do I go to sleep!?
I have tryed all I can think of, warm milk, Sleepy time tea, reading a book, watching a little TV, i have to go to sleep with the TV on because i have major angziety!. If i dont fall asleep to the TV i think about to much!. I am 11 years ld and my parents get very anoyed when i wake them up crying!. I want to be able to fall asleep, i have not been going to sleep for 2 weeks now, help me!!!!!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am like that too!. I am 13 years old!. Nothing works for me eather!. I have tried going to bed early/late!. Counting sheep, reading!. Soothing music!. Nothing works!. The best thing for me is music!. It is not much but it is a distraction from my mind!. I have been like this sense I was 9/10ish!. I would lay in bed for hours!. Then run to my parents room in tears about how I am really tierd but cant go to sleep!. I hope yours doesn't last as long as mine has/is!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What I know helps me is turning on a floor fan, (the cool air in your face), shutting the door to block out noise, turning of the TV, getting under all my covers, put on an eyemask, (something that covers up your eyes from any distractions, like $5 at Target or such), and putting on my Ipod!. Then after a few songs I like to lay down, turn it off, then relax different parts of my body at a time!. First your toes, then your calves, then your thighs, so on, so on!. It really helps me!. And maybe if the problem continues get a very small bottle of Advil Pm!. It works better then Tylenol!. Start with 1 pill a night, specifically not the LIqui-Gels, takes too long 2 kick in!. Then after a little while do a half pill, then after you've kicked the habit, 0 pills and sleep should be a breeze!.
Also: If your parents do not like the idea of sleeping pills in their 11 yr!. old put a very cold cloth, out of the freezer on your forehead!. And half an hour before sleep turn a few things off, make it dark, watch TV, read or whatever, RELAX! And how about no caffeine during the day, if you cannot do that try no caffeine after 7:30, and less sugary snacks!. Plus!. Be in the sun for at least an hour a day, swimming helps best!.

Putting a fan on may help, or getting a Sleep machine!. It is a box, that has different sounds ( rain, wind,etc!.) meant to relax you!. If it is real serious, you may want to see your doctor, participate in a sleep study, etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What i would do is put a fan with a soft noise to keep your mind calm or listen to soft music like beach water!. also if you wake up earlier you'll be more tired that night so it will be easier for you to sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have that problem too!. i am 13 and i can't fall asleep at night!. what i do to fall asleep is i lie down turn off my light then i just start thinking!. for some reason that helps me fall asleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't watch television!.
Shut the lights off or put them on low and listen to relaxing music!. You should be able to fall asleep, just shut your eyes and lay on your back!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i was like that when i was 11!. going to bed earlier helped me so did exercising (alot) right before bed so i wiped out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

umm wow thats weird!. Go to the doctor maybe he could perscribe something to make you go to sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
