Question: What do you think this was!?!?!?
A couple days ago I was very sick!. It started after I ate at this restaurant with my friend!. I had fish!. About 30 minutes after I ate I started to feel sick and started to burp alot which isnt normal for me!. My stomach was very bloated and I had major pain in my stomach!. For about 5 hours I felt this way and then I started to get dizzy!. I started throwing up 5 hours later after I started to feel sick, but mostly just dry heaving and that went on for the rest of the time
The next morning I felt very tired and low and energy and I had a low grade fever!.
I felt better a couple days later
What do you think this was!?

I know you felt horrible, but it sounds like a rather 'mild' Gastroenteritis!. You don't want to know how a violent Gastroenteritis progresses! ;-P
Contrary to some of the previous posts, it is not food poisioning, since that is usually not self-limiting, needs medical intervention to make you feel better, and does not resolve by itself!. It is the number one cause of deaths in children and kills about 7-8 MILLION people/worldwide)
Since you're feeling o!.k!. now, the fish may have been contaiminated most likely with a virus!. It is difficult to guess what it could have been, because some tests are necessary to figure that out, but it's so common it's not really worth it!.
Contamination can happen (most commonly) from false handling of the food, unhygenic condtitions, or prior to the fish being commercially process pollutants!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
