Question: Could someone please explain to me the difference between having an impairment or a disablity!?
What makes an impairment and what is being disabled!. What exactly are the differences between the two!? I am thinking about how this is determined with employment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Impairment implies difficulty in performing some function or task!. Disability implies an incapacity!. !.Many impairments can be accomodated and are not necessarily a valid reason for exclusion from a job category!. A disability may be sufficient cause for exclusion from certain job categories, but only those job categories where the disability renders the person incapable of performing the job function!.
