Toothbrush and Germs --?!

Question: Toothbrush and Germs --!?

Since I can't keep my toothbrush out on the counter (toilet supposedly sprays up to 20 feet) and I can't keep it in the dark droor where bacteria grows where am I supposed to keep it!?
