Why cant i go to sleep?!


Question: Why cant i go to sleep!?
Ok i have tried night after night to try to get to sleep, but i cant!. I have been up for the past 3 days and i am starting to halisunate!. I really need some help!. I close my eyes and i just cant go to sleep!. Is it because iv had to much sugar or something!? Please help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh my gosh I'm the same as you! For me when I take a bubble bath and then read with the t!.v!. off and just my lamp on I can get to bed!.

Or I go off and do something complicated like lift weights that are slightly too heavy for me and then I run a lot and work out and then I am too sore to daydream and way too tired too stress myself into staying awake!.

I don't do those things anymore because I am a weirdo who likes seeing how pretty the day looks at 5:30-6:00 in the morning!. It's beautiful really! So if you still can't sleep then I suggest looking out your window at that time!. :]Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sugar and caffeine definitely hinder sleep, I would not consume either if you are trying to get some sleep!. Make sure your bed (or wherever you normally sleep) is comfortable and the room you are in is quiet and temperature controlled!. It is recommended that one doesn't consume caffeine past 2pm and the temp should be around 70 degrees!. The room should be dark or invest in a sleeping mask that can be found at most drugstores!. Don't try too hard to go to sleep, just relax and shove any mind racing thoughts out of your head!. Some people find that a white noise machine helps them have something neutral to focus on!. You need to eliminate sugar and caffiene from your diet!. Take a warm shower and have someone give you a message!. Try OTC sleeping medication, and some soft music, your environment must be quiet to induce sleep as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nuke a glass of milk in the microwave for 30 seconds, it releases enzymes that help you sleep!. Take 2 tylenol with the milk !.!.!. then dim your lights and read!. don't watch tv, play computer games that makes you more awake!.
