When you are at home, you are in your comfort zone!. It's much easier to be yourself!. You need to work on becoming more outgoing!. Like everything else, it takes practice when it doesn't come naturally!. The more you practice the easier it gets!. Now I'm not saying you'll be totally outgoing, that's not you!.!.!.but you will be able to speak without people noticing you are "shy!." Practice and put yourself in situations to make you have to come out of your shell!. I think a drama club is a great suggestion!. Also a speech class!. One thing I learned is when giving speeches, practice it over and over again!. Know it by heart so it is your comfort zone!. Take deep breaths and try to relax!. As you get older, you will find it easier to be yourself!. If you write, find a coffee shop or someplace similar that does public reading!. The more you do, the easier it gets!. And remember, your harshest critic is yourself!. Quiet the inner voice that makes you afraid and nervous and let the voice of confidence speak for you!. You can do it!! Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You cannot change the fact that you're an introvert!. Talking to people will never come natural for you!. But you can become a better communicator with practice!. Start out in a small club, maybe volunteer at a nursing home or some place you feel safe!. The more you talk with people the more comfortable you will get!. This is important, I have spent most of my life as a shy person and it has held me back both professionally and emotionally!. Start now!. Have a great life!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like stage fright!. And I had it in school too and sometimes I still get it as an adult!. It's pretty normal and you shouldn't worry about it!. If you want to become more outgoing try a sport at school like cross country running or you could consider playing an instrument in band!. If those options bore you try another after school activity!. It will help you to meet people who you may not have considered talking to during the school day!. School is tough and can be a real downer sometimes!. You have to make the best of it or you'll go nuts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My son is the same exact way!. He told me the other day he wishes he was more outgoing!. I was the same way!.I think it is just part of your personality!. It's what makes you who you are!.

I moved around a lot as a child!. Everytime I would move, I would say to myself!.!.!.!. Ok, I am going to be a different person, I am going to be outgoing and not shy!.!.!. Well, It would last a few days, but my personality always came through!., It's who I was!. See!?

Don't change!. Be proud of who you are!. Find friends that like you for YOU!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No simple answer to that but practice faking self-confidence and pretend you are alone in the classroom when you are doing something in front of the class!. It is a common problem!. Try public speaking self-help tactics!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
