Question: Drugs and Booze!?
Alright, so I am at this party the other night, i didnt drink anything!. But one of my friends has family issues!. She got really hammered and thought she should kill herself by attempting to eat a bottle of Tylenol!. My friend was smart enough to smack the pile of wet pills out of her mouth!. So my questions are: how many Tylenols would it take to do permenant damage(when drunk) and is it normal to have these suicidal drunks!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tylenol is paracetamol!. The toxic dose of paracetamol varies!. In a normal person it is about 6 grams, which would be about 12 tablets (they usually have about 500mg in each tablet)!.
A lethal dose would be over 10g (20x500mg tablets), but is less with alcohol!. Some manufacturers now limit the number of tablets in a package or bottle to less than the lethal dose!.
Paracetamol overdoses need to be treated within about 8 hours or they will cause irreversible liver damage and death within a few days!. It is not a quick or pleasant way to kill yourself!. Ironically, if you took that dose while drunk, you'd be likely to throw it straight back up anyway!.
