You're right!. However, you can also add bones, cartilage, tendons, small intestine, heart valves etc!. Remember the woman in France who had a face transplant!?

It might be easier to ask, what parts of the body are not used for transplant! Large intestine, brain, appendix (lol), spleen, gall bladder!.!.!.!.

The real problem with transplantation is that it occurs so quickly you can't always be sure the donor is free of HIV, cancers, infections etc!.

When my ex husband died, his long bones and eyes were removed for transplant!. That pretty much left a torso!. He was too old for organ transplants!. That's gross, huh!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Many organs can be used!. It is true that skin is used for burn victims and for major wounds!. Eye parts can also be used, major organs, bone for bone grafts, blood, ect!. Really everything can be used, depending on the time of death!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They can really take almost everything!. I don't agree with it, even though I know it saves lives, but for the ones who do agree, they are doing someone who needs it a great favor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Almost anything!. I knew a guy once who had knee surgery and got donated ligamentsWww@Answer-Health@Com
