Question: Can Marijuana cause a heart attack!?
When I use to smoke my heart use to beat so fast it could be seen through my shirt!. It only lasted for about 10 secounds but, if you got heart problems etc!. can you die!.
(I actually thought about taking some vicodin or something in hopes of lowering my heart beat wouldv'e that been a good idea!?)
I felt like I was having a heart attack when I was taking caffeine pills so I think I might of have heart problems!.

ummm!. if you think you have heart problems, u should really go to a doctor!.!.!.but marijuana doesnt cause heart attacks!. Marijuana really has no negative effects other than impairment of your judgement oh and of course you shouldn't drive under the influence because it does cause hallucinations if its laced!. as for vicodin!.!.!.NO!.
Marijuana is probably the only drug out there (including alcohol and tobacco)that doesn't give bad effects in most cases!. I've never heard or anyone dying from a marijuana overdose!. If you smoke too much, you pass out!. Plus, Lung cancer isn't linked to marijuana usage like tobacco is!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you have a pre-existing cardiac problem and you are using marijuana, it can cause a heart attack for a few reasons!.
Smoking marijuana and cigarettes constrict your arteries which causes your heart to pump faster to get the blood to the rest of your body which can put extra strain on your heart!.
Marijuana, like most illegal street drugs can cause tachycardia (fast heart rate), which can also be fatal because of the extra strain if you have a pre-existing cardiac condition!.
The best way to get tested your heart tested is to see your primary care provider and have him/her do a stress test, ekg and labs!.

Well since weed is a downer I'd have to say no!. Its nothing like meth or coke which are uppers and go straight through the heart!. However I don't think it's out of the question that you could get so paranoid from weed and have a heart attack!. Never heard of it though!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its possible you were allergic to it, or you were having a panic attack, which marijuana can trigger for some people!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
