Went to the Dr this morning to ask for a referal to get an MRI done, I have suffered with really bad migraines the past year with not history before that!. They make me vomit fall over and sometimes faint!. The MRI is $250!.00!!! Are they joking I cant afford that I have a mortgage to pay and with the interest rates I can barley afford dinner!. Why the hell are they so expensive!? Does it cost the government that mucht o do the scan or are they making money!? BTW I am in AustraliaWww@Answer-Health@Com

I have insurance and my co-pay is 50 bucks for an MRI!. I saw a printout of what they cost the clinic, and it was over $6,000!!!! That piece of machinery apparently costs a million dollars+!. Ask your doctor if you can try some other things first!. First of all, you know that migraines are on one side of the face only!. You should immediately lie down in a dark quiet bedroom!. There are so many meds available, you must try each one till you hit in the right one!. Try generic Fiorinal first!.

You got away lightly!. I had to have both ankles MRI scanned and it cost me $500 each!.!.!.!.!. also in Australia!. So much for medicare!. When is an Australian government of any political persuasion going to take a long hard look at the quality and expense of our medical care!? You still need to have the MRI to make sure you don't have a brain tumour!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
yer it cost me 50 dollars just to see the doctor about my height im only 4'9 and 14 its stupid, i had a incident occur and mum trying to find a simple answer for it, and wont take me cuz it cost alot of money cuz yer we struggle with money aswell !!!

yea it's ridiculous! check and see if you can get some money back from Medicare!? you should be able to do that!.!.!. Australia is gettin to expensive to survive in :( we gotta make too much sacrifices to liveWww@Answer-Health@Com
