This is exactly like me, I think its normal for teenagers for some reason to not be tired at night and then sleepy in the day, all my family has been through it, so its just age!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nothing's wrong with you - you've just changed your body clock (the times it feels ready to sleep and awake at)!. If you want to get up earlier and go to bed earlier, start getting into the routine!. Get active, go on a long walk or go swimming, so you'll feel tired earlier that evening!. Then try going to bed an hour earlier than usual, 3 am instead of 4!. You should wake up at 11 am instead of 12!. Keep doing that for a week, then try going to sleep an hour earlier, and getting up an hour earlier!. Keep doing it until you get into the times you'd like, eg bed 12:00, wake up 8:00!. It might not be easy at first, but if you stay at it, your body will soon change!. Here's some tips for getting a better sleep:

- Electrical devices (computers, TVs ect), bright light and loud music stimulate our brains, and thus leave us feeling awake!. Avoid these in the evening, especially in the 3 hours or so before you'd like to get to sleep!. Try to be in dimmer light, perhaps only have a lamp on!. Wear any eye mask in bed to block out light if you live in a hot place where the sun sets late!.
- We start to feel drowsy when our body temperature drops slightly!. If you live in a warm country, turn the air conditioning on higher!. If you're in a colder place, turn your central heating down later in the evening!.
- Milk contains tryptophan, which slows your brain so you sleep better!. Drink a glass before bed!. Lavender also contains relaxing substances; try putting a few drops of lavender oil on your pillow, and light some lavender scented candles in the evening!.
- When our bodies are working hard digesting a lot of food, we're kept awake!. Avoid heavy, rich or spicy meals and too much starch (carbs like bread, pasta, rice) late at night!. Also, make sure you're not over eating for the amount of activity you do during the day!. Make sure you do enough exercise to burn up what you've eaten!. We stay awake when our bodies have energy to burn!.
- Most people find they have something which winds their brains down, such as reading, listening to quiet music or gentle aerobics!. It's usually something they enjoy and/or are in the habit of, so their brains connect it with sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is totally unhealthy, because night is meant for sleeping and to take rest, our body will perform its duty of detoxification of our body during the night time only, if u stay without sleeping then that function will remain undone and toxicity will remain in your body only,

In the long run it will have adverse effect on your body,Www@Answer-Health@Com

yup yup and yup i agree with the three previous answers, but it is not an age thing!. i have been staying up til 5 or 6 for a couple of weeks for a purpose,,,now that purpose is no longer there and i am having trouble going to bed at a decent time!.!.!.!.if you want to fix it and stay up during the day, you have to get up early one morning and force your tired dragging body to stay up until your desired bed time!.!.!.!.go to bed at that time and repeat everyday!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

eh you just have an irregular sleep cycle, many people have one if they don't need to get up at a certain time!. there's nothing wrong with you and it won't cause any health problems, as long as you don't start pulling all-nighters!. (:Www@Answer-Health@Com
