Can you get your LPN or RN thru a trade school?!

Question: Can you get your LPN or RN thru a trade school!?
I didn't know if you have to go to a regular college to get your LPN or RN, or if you can go thru a trade school!. I looked up the local college here in town and they require you to take algebra 1, English 1, Anatomy/lab - is this the usual requirement!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yes for the LPN part of your question, in Minnesota, at least!. Trade or tech schools offer course work preparing you for your LPN (or LVN)exam!.
To be an RN you must complete at least a 2 yr college!. Many community colleges offer a RN program!. Most RNs now are BSNs, which means that they have a bachelor of science degree in nursing!. Two year RNs receive an associates degree!. Both the BSN and AA (AS) programs prepare you for the same test!.!.!. NCLEX!. Your license to practice is the same!. States other than Minnesota may be different, though!.
You can get extensive info on this subject by contacting your state nursing licensing board!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Some trade schools do have RN and LPN courses!.!. but where ever you go!.!. you will STILL have to take Algebra, math, English, Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry and a bunch of OTHER classes, so if you can't do school work!.!.!. don't waste your time!.

Why would you think you can get a PROFESSIONAL LICENSE where you are working in situations where you can KILL PEOPLE if you are incompetant!.!. and be able to get that license with no basic knowledge or training!?

You need to have a LOT of Personal DISCIPLINE to get a Nursing License and if you don't have that!.!.!. you may as well just keep flipping burgers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
