Question: I know it sounds really stupid!?
but i cant go to sleep while its still light out and after it gets dark i worry about burgerlers and people who'd want to kill /hurt me!. ever since i was really little iv never felt safe in my own bed!. So ill stay up tell about 5 am when its Just barely light out and i know (think ) that burgerlers wouldnt try to break in!.!. and then i sleep tell about 1pm and am still really tired when i wake up !.!.!.also my rooms the only bed room on the bottom floor , which is a hall,game room, kitchen, dining room, living room away from the stair case to get to the upstairs where my parents are!.!. also we live in the country were theres not lights or anything (but we live RIGHT off of Main street )

I had this same problem but mine was really stupid because I stayed up worrying about spirits or demons!. I slept with the door open and the hall lights on for the longest time!. I'm a teenager and I live with my parents who sleep down the hall but still I was so scared!. Especially when they would travel and would leave me and my older brother at home I was especially scared because that meant they weren't sleeping across the hall anymore!. But I just kept reminding myself that I was fine!. I was safe!. You just have to keep reminding yourself until all your worries seem silly and insane!. Just think of other things!. Think about what you'll do in the morning when you wake up or something!. Like shower, eat breakfast, what outfit you'll wear!. etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i agree with the therapist idea ecause you need to find out what's going on with your burglar fear!. Until then, I think it'll help you feel secure if you lock all your doors and windows!. Read a book in bed till you get drowsy and fall asleep, but it's really important that you get to the bottom of your anxiety problemWww@Answer-Health@Com

you should tell ur rents, it seems like you have a bad case of ansiety, & tht can sometimes lead to depresion!. get checked out by a doccter!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

get some glow-in-the-dark stuff to put around the house and in your room, i have little g!.i!.t!.d stars stuck to the walls and ceiling in my room because i have the same kind of problemWww@Answer-Health@Com

get yourself some burgular alarm system and close circuit camera and then you may sleep at night if you dont sleep you will make yourself illWww@Answer-Health@Com

While working nights, I would have to sleep during the daylight hours!. A solution to keeping the light from entering the room is 'blackout curtains' they keep a lot of the light out and you can find them reasonably cheap, even at local retailers now!. If you have problems with worries, you might try to find activities that help you to 'unwind' and relax before bedtime!. Reading, writing in a journal, simple non exertive exercise, things that relax you!. Also try to establish a normal sleeping pattern; such as going to bed the same time every night!. Keeping on a schedule will help a lot!. Try not to worry so much about everything!. The area that you live sounds like a safe area to live!. I've found country life to be much safer than city life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
