I have been getting headaches in band for two years now. I play trumpet,?!

Question: I have been getting headaches in band for two years now!. I play trumpet,!?
but that's not the reason for the headaches!. My band teacher is reallly worried about me, because they make me feel like I'm going to pass out or faint!. I haven't told my parents and I don't plan to!. What should I do!? They get really bad, and my band director lets me leave when they get bad enough, but I'm not sure what I can do to get them to leave!. Any ideas!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

First, you really do have to tell your parents - you might not want to for whatever reason, but they gotta know your having a medical problem, thats serious!. What if you do pass out and hurt yourself at school!? They'll end up finding out then anyway!. This way you can go to a doctor and get treated for whatever it is before it goes from a smaller problem to a bigger one!.

Having said that, you may not be breathing correctly while playing trumpet!. Do you take a breath when your in the middle of playing!? You should do so often, preferably at the end of each phrase of music!. Practice by yourself everyday and work on this!.

Are you breathing correctly while playing!? Do you raise and scrunch up your shoulders when taking a breath!? If so that is bad, you need to breath from your gut, slowly and deeply!. Lay on the ground and breath slow and deep, that is how you should breath when standing/sitting and playing trumpet!. When you inhale it should be the type of breath you take right before jumping into a swimming pool!.

I hope this helps, but tell you parents and go see a doc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

first tell your parents they can help way more than any one can
try taking deeper breaths!.if you dont breath well then your brain does'nt get enough air!so try that and try not to pass out in band its not fun!!!

hope this helped!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

first tell your parents, it could be something that could be easily solved!. second buy some ear plugs, you still will be able to hear the music being played just not so loud!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
