I personally haven't had my doctor tell me, but I work with them on a regular basis and that is the standard recommendation!. Not necessarily because they have anything against herbal medicine, but because the industry is pretty much uncontrolled and unregulated by the FDA!. So there is very little quality control, and you do not always know for certain what you are paying for is what you are getting!. There is no way to be sure of the concentration of active ingredients, nor the purity of them!. I know and you know there are reputable companies out there, but unfortunately there are plenty who aren't!. And as a consumer it is hard to tell which you are getting sometimes!. If the industry would agree to change that, then you would probably have more doctors agreeing to it!. But the companies rather like not having to face all the trials and conditions of the FDA, and as long as they stay nutritional supplements they don't have to!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
