What is the difference between a virus and bacteria?!
Question: What is the difference between a virus and bacteria!?
I have a stomach virus right now!. I saw a doctor yesterday because of it, but the doctor didn't give me any medicine for it!. Any time I have had some type of bacterial infection they always give an antibiotic, but with virus they don't do anything!. So that made me wonder, what is the difference between a bacteria and a virus!? Why is a virus so much harder to kill and get rid of!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

A virus requires a host cell in order to live and multiply!. It actually lives INSIDE of the cells inside your body!. There aren't many medicines that will do anything to get rid of it!. Your body's own immune system has to do most of the work!. Medicine can help relieve the symptoms, but it won't actually kill the virus!.
A bacterium is a fully formed "animal" that can live on its own!. Sure they can make you sick, but your body also has a lot of them that you need in order to survive!. Medicine can attack and kill many of them, and in some cases your body can't do it alone!.

The thing is that a bacteria can be kill because is much weaker than a virus so far!. A virus is much stronger and it duplicates!. When ever an antibiotic is been given to someone with a virus the whole situation can get worse why!? because the anti biotics make the virus stronger it kills some of it but some are left and become stronger because this time they know hot to resist the drug and when ever the anti biotic is used one more time the virus knows how to fight it back so then different types of stronger anti biotics have to be apply to the body and the virus does the whole process again but is has been proved that bacteria as well is getting as smart as a virus because it is getting stronger and more deffensive with time in resisting the anti-biotics ue to kill it, bacteria is learning how to rrecognize the drug and fight it back now, but no it is not like a virus as of yet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
well, a bacteria is way larger then a virus, but medicine cant cure virus, so you body has to fight it off itself!. thats about all i know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
