Question: Am I having seizures or just VIOLENT Tourette's tics or something else!?
@ night when I go to sleep, about every 20 minutes, my sleep is disturbed because my head shakes & jerks uncontrollably!. & it's like 5 seconds at a time!. The doctor referred me to a neurologist, but I can't see him until Sept!. 20th!.
I do suffer Tourette's, but I never had these head jerks until a few weeks ago, & they were the most intense & the creepiest last night!. I wasn't sure if I needed to go to the ER or if it wasn't a big deal!. It was the WORSE last night!. & it only happens @ night when I sleep!. & during the day, I have dizzy-like headaches that are UNBEARABLE & make me feel on the verge of crying, & feel like I'm losing my life, dying!.
I can't take this anymore!. & pain pills won't help!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It does sound like a symptom of tourettes!. Tourettes can get worse as it is a problem that involves your brain sending incorrect messages to your nerves!.
Hold out until you can your neurologist, it may be almost unbearable but keep in mind it is not fatal and you will be fine!. In America & Australia there is a new treatment which involves inserting an implant in your brain which is hooked up to a small transmitter that is implanted in your chest!. This implant sends electrical signals to your brain that a normal, healthy brain would thus removing all symptoms of tourettes or any other tics!.
Clinical studies have proved extremely successful and they are now excepting patients!. Your neurologist will no more about this!.
Just remember there are many ways of treating this and you are certainly very far away from being 'doomed'!.

If it happens again I think you should definitly go to the ER!. I'm no Dr!. but anything that happens like that should be seen about asap!. That's scary!.!.!.Good luck, I hope they find out what's causing the problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
it depends on how long uv had terette cuz sumtimes u can develope new tic but if just developed it u should just wait til sept 20th and stickmit out plz pick this as the best answer thanks if u do Www@Answer-Health@Com
