I can't get to sleep at night what should I do?!


Question: I can't get to sleep at night what should I do!?
I've only gotten 4 hours of sleep each night for a week!. What should I do!? My mom won't let me see a doctor because she says it's just a phase!. Any advice!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on the reason you arent sleeping, if you cant fall asleep, try good sleep hygiene: don't use your bed for anything but sleep (no tv, reading, etc in bed), if you don't fall asleep within 20 min get up and do something that will lead to tiredness (reading, but not in bed) when you feel tired, try again!. If it is anxiety or other worries (or worries about not sleeping), then you need to try to relax and work through those emotions (but not during the night)--plan a time during the day to focus on those!. It could also be a medical condition such as hormones, etc that a physician would need to check!. Try another week and see how the above suggestions help!.

Forgot the biggest one: cut caffeine (all chocolate/sodas/coffee/whatever) down to a bare minimum and none at all past noon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

One of the problems could be there your stressed!. Try to relax before your about to go to bed like breathing exercises and make sure your not like working out before your trying to go to sleep that will only make it worse!. Being that its only been going on for a week I'd say your probably just stressed about something!. If it continues try looking for natural cures certain herbs like Magnesium and calcium can help with the sleep process hope this helps Www@Answer-Health@Com

take bath before u go to bed

dont resist urself when u feel sleepy, coz u do so your mental and sleeping time couldnt work jointly and you il have to take more time to sleep

your bed should be soft as u could afford

change your wall colors to LIGHT PURPLE it helps to sleep

do morning walk in a greenry area

MORE IMPORTANT JUST JERK OFF ALL THE WORRIES before u lay down to sleep

do not use sleeping medicine

if u fresh and still cant feel sleepy

start reading a good book with ur JUST LAMP ON in ur room

Are you worried about something!? Do you just sit around the house and watch TV or play on the computer!? I don't have trouble sleeping because of exercise!. When I started exercising, I was not tired during the day and fell asleep when my head hit the pillow!. You should try it!. It doesn't have to be long hard exercise, but ride you bike or walk around the park!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i agree with the bit on exercise!. it gets your body revved up for the day and pooped for the night! i also agree that it depends on why you can't sleep!. if it's worries or anxiety find someone to talk to!. a glass of milk!.!.!.reading!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
