Question: At the age of 17, why do I have purple veins that stick out on my legs!?
They're off putting, I think it's because I notice them more than anyone else, I'm not sure why I have them, is it some kind of disease!? or just a natural occurrence!?

Theyll just be varicose veins, lots of people have them, its genetic usually or just bad luck !.
You can get them removed with laser therapy or just live with them cause they arent that bad, youll just notice them more than other people cause its yourbody :p

It's telangiectasias, aka spider veins!. You get them from sitting in one spot too long or standing up for a long time!. You can get them easier when you're on birth control, and if your mom had spider veins, you probably will too since it's genetic!. It's no big deal, you can even have them removed by lasers or injections if you really care about them!. You only have them on your legs, some people have them all over their body (on their chest, ribs, back and eye bags)
Varicose veins buldge out, and those you'll have to be careful with since they can lead to blood clots!.
Go to a vascular doctor if you only have vein issues with one leg!.
